RCHS alumnus, teacher and coach to lead school

Roncalli Catholic High School is excited to announce that J.J. Stoffel (‘02) will serve as the school’s next principal at the conclusion of the 2021-2022 school year.

Mr. Stoffel has been a member of the RCHS faculty since 2013. Currently, he teaches 10-11th Grade Social Sciences and serves as the head coach for the boy’s basketball and girl’s golf team.

A search committee was formed in early January to find the school’s next principal. Over the course of the next month, the committee received interest from several qualified candidates both local and national. Top candidates were selected to interview for the position. Of those candidates, Mr. Stoffel was selected to lead Roncalli Catholic as the school’s next principal.

“Mr. Stoffel has a passion for providing the best educational experience to the students of Roncalli Catholic,” President Sean Keisling said. “His strong Catholic leadership and

knowledge of educational practices will make a strong impact in our building and the students we serve.”

Mr. Stoffel will replace current Principal T.J. Orr (‘96) at the conclusion of the 2021-2022 school year. Mr. Orr will transition to the role of Vice President of Advancement.

After graduating from Roncalli Catholic in 2002, Mr. Stoffel received his Bachelor of Science  in teaching from Peru State in 2012 and his Master of Science in educational leadership from Creighton University in 2017.

“I’m excited about the opportunity to lead this school,” Stoffel said. “ I just have a deep love for this school because it gave me so much. I want to put my time and my efforts back into it to make sure the students, faculty and staff are working toward being successful in the future.”
