On-line Financial Aid Application Process for Individual Tuition Plans
Roncalli Catholic High School is dedicated to making our faith-based, quality education an option for committed families and students. We work with families, one-on-one, to arrive at a customized individual tuition plan. Your family’s individual tuition plan may include academic scholarship grants, financial need grants, or alumni legacy scholarship awards.
- Customized plan: tuition is based upon your family’s particular situation.
- Individualized: we meet with families to establish a partnership between Roncalli Catholic High School and your family
- Respectful of family needs: Roncalli Catholic takes into consideration special circumstances such as medical issues, elder care, and number of children in Catholic school and college.
How Your Family’s Individual Tuition Plan is Determined:
If you wish to apply for financial assistance, the first step in the process is to submit your financial aid application online with FACTS Tuition Management system. This will assist us in making fair and informed decisions when determining your individual tuition plan. We encourage you to submit your information as early as possible to ensure consideration.
You are asked to complete the online application form by March 15 on the FACTS website. Along with your completed online application and $30 application fee, you will be asked to provide the following:
- Copies of your most recent tax forms including all tax schedules
- Copies of your most recent W-2 forms
- Copies of supporting documentation for other types of income including Social Security, child support, etc.
All supporting documentation can be uploaded in PDF format online. Documentation may also be faxed to 1-866-315-9264. Please be sure to include the applicant ID. Once you complete the process, FACTS will forward your needs assessment to Roncalli Catholic. We will then use this information to determine your Individual Tuition Plan. You will then be asked to commit to your all-inclusive tuition plan.

Academic Scholarship Grants
These scholarship grants are awarded to incoming freshmen based upon scores on the Eighth Grade Placement Exam given at Roncalli Catholic. This exam is given on a scheduled Saturday morning in January each year. The student must take the exam on that Saturday to be eligible to receive an academic scholarship. These scholarships are awarded in various amounts divided over a student’s four years at Roncalli Catholic. The scholarship is not transferable.
“Pride Leader” Scholarship Grants
“Pride Leader” Scholarship grants are available each year for incoming freshmen only. These $1,000, one-year, non-renewable scholarship grants are awarded based upon the leadership qualities the individual has shown and developed in combination with the applicant’s score achieved on the Roncalli Catholic Placement Exam.
After taking the Placement Exam, students may apply for a “Pride Leader” Scholarship by first filling out the application form. Then, students must send evaluation forms to three adults who are to evaluate the student’s personal leadership qualities. These adults may be teachers, coaches, school administrators, pastors, youth leaders, employers, etc. A least one of these evaluations must come from a current teacher or administrator. However, these adults are not to be related to the applicant.
Student Work Program
The Building Pride Student Work Program grants may be a part of need-based tuition payment plans. The terms will be arranged in conjunction with the family’s customized tuition payment plan, and jobs will be scheduled in the summer or in August for jobs during the school year.
If you have any questions about the student work program, please contact T.J. Orr at 402-571-7670 ext. 103.
