| Wine Grotto donations for Festa - Monday, February 22, 2010Roncalli Catholic High School is hosting
our 21st annual dinner and auction, Festa del Leone, the Feast of the Lion, on Saturday, April 10, 2010.
The theme this year is “Celebrazione Italiana.”
This year, the Wine Grotto’s theme is, “Travel the World through the Wine Grotto.”Consider making a donation for the grotto. Some ideas that may make your donation choices much easier. For example: Italy: a Chianti Wine and a dinner gift certificate at Johnny’s Italian Steak House; France: a Syrah with a gift certificate to The French Café; Australia: Deloach & dinner for two at the Outback Steak House and of course, US: Nappa Valley Solieabeuk & dinner at Anthony’s Steak House. These are just a few ideas, but we could also utilize candies, fruits, cheese & crackers and wine glasses. A monetary donation to help underwrite the costs of the Wine Grotto is always appreciated and another way to contribute.

| RCHS brings $1.4 million - Tuesday, February 23, 2010
Roncalli Catholic High School development effort brings $1.4 million
Roncalli Catholic High School officials announced today that its capital campaign drive has received $1.4 million in pledges, cash and in-kind gifts, with another $1.35 still to be raised.
The first phase of the drive got underway last fall. The Rev. Lloyd Gnirk, president and principal of the north Omaha school, has led the charge, along with a team of committed alumni, school parents, donors and friends of the school.
A year ago, with the school’s future at risk, school leaders developed a strategy to build a strong foundation for the school. “We formed a three-point plan to address the financial situation at Roncalli,” Gnirk said. “We met our obligations last year, we balanced our budget for this year and we introduced a capital campaign to help our students with tuition. We’ve made great progress and we plan to build on our success.”

Post Prom Donations Needed
As you are out shopping for bargains, or thinking about the Christmas presents you may want to re gift, Roncalli Post Prom committee could use your help.
We are looking for raffle items such as sweatshirts, gift certificates, small cooking appliances - George Formans, coffee makers, microwaves, luggage sets, IPod nanos. These items will be used as raffle prizes and senior gifts at the post prom event on Saturday, April 17 from midnight - 4:00 am.
